Frederick Leyland: Dealer and Joint owner of Arcaz, passionate about rugby, his family, the Gallery and food and drink (especially Port) but these are not listed in any particular order. I started work in the family wholesale meat and farming business. My parents, Sally and Fred, then opened their first Antique shop in the mid sixties in Preston. I have been in this business in one form or another ever

since, with a preference for mahogany or rosewood furniture together with other quirky, decorative, and unusual pieces.

Janet Leyland: Joint owner of Arcaz with husband Fred, by profession I am an Optometrist and have my own business which has been situated in Notts close to the Derbys border for the last 30 years. Since meeting my husband in 1995, I have grown to share his passion for antiques, but not particularly for rugby, whilst he supports my various activities, including my passion for being a Reader at our local church.

As a couple we will make a dynamic partnership here at Arcaz where Fred will lead the sales staff and Janet will oversee the administrative team who will serve the  needs of clients and dealers alike.

Julie-ann, Interior Designer:

From my early beginnings, I developed an interest in Design and Furnishings via my involvement with a fine Antique Shop in Harrogate.  Since then I have had many years to learn the mechanics of the trade that have led to a high level of accomplishments that gives my clients ‘what they have always wanted, but did not realise they wanted until they had it’.
